"Stopped just for a drink and a rest . About 30 of us we were welcomed and moved tablets to suit us .. drinks including cocktails were served with a smile and chatty bar person. Went inside a lovely room with lots of atmosphere ."

The service was exceptional, warm, and welcoming - this really was an example of how to be the perfect restaurant hosts. They spoke very good English, which was good, as our French was very rusty! The atmosphere was great, with some chilled and funky music playing in the background. All of the family enjoyed their meals, and the Jack Sparrow cocktail in the photo is highly recommended. Great to step out of the restaurant at the end of the evening into a peaceful village street, very relaxed. If we could have eaten here every night, we would have. If you choose to eat here, you will not be disappointed."

"Facing the main square in Ginestas, this restaurant has a super terrace to fully enjoy an outdoor meal in summertime. The menu of the day is written down on a blackboard, and you can choose either a-la-carte or a fixed price menu (a starter, a main and a dessert, with less option to choose from within the menu). We started with a fresh aperitivo (a jar of alcoholic drink with strawberries and lemon), then the starters: a bruschetta with maquerel (from the menu) and a delicious tuna tataki. As main we chose the veal option as part of the menu and a confit de canard (duck), together with a bottle of red, a Cuvée Marcelin Albert, an excellent choice for the price. Last a dessert: a passion fruit cheese cake The bill: 43€ each, definitely a very good price! Really recommended for location, food and wine. The one star less is just for a little flaw in the service: we had the wine at the table when the main was already served since minutes, and the dessert was forgotten and we had to ask it back. "I had very nice experience. The vibe of the restaurant was good, the staff was friendly (including puppy). In terms of food, it was one of the best food that i tried in France. Especially, Appetiser which was asparagus with purée was very good and well cooked."
